I have a proven track record as a photography tutor teaching at a range of age and skill levels. I am lecturer in photojournalism and documentary photography at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London where I teach across the MA and BA courses. I am a visiting tutor at other universities around the United Kingdom and have given talks, tutorials, and workshops at institutions including the University of South Wales, University of Westminster, University of Coventry, University of Plymouth, and Goldsmiths, University of London
I have taught on the Magnum Photos summer school, and I am a tutor on Autograph ABP’s Album Project, an extra-curricular course for 16 to 18 year-old Londoners and which explores notions of community, memory, and social and cultural identity. I also teach at the School of Punktum, an alternative photography school established by Ed Thompson and conceived as a low-cost alternative to photography higher education. I have a Postgraduate Certificate Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication, I am an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy, have a full recent Disclosure and Barring Service check and I am a qualified first aider.
